Whale Watching 2025 Season
Whale watching in Panama offers an incredible adventure, especially between July and October. During this time, visitors can explore the best places to witness the magnificent humpback whales migrating to Panama’s tropical waters to breed and give birth.
A warm welcome
The whale migration happens when these majestic creatures travel from colder areas like Antarctica to Panama’s warm waters. These waters provide ideal conditions for nurturing their young, ensuring safety, and facilitating mating, making whale watching tours a truly unique experience.
Humpback whales are the highlight of whale watching adventures, impressing onlookers with their spectacular acrobatics and mesmerizing songs. Beyond humpback whale watching, other marine wildlife, like Bryde’s whales, pilot whales, and dolphins, enhance the overall whale watching experience.
While dolphins are commonly seen during whale watching season, they are fascinating enough to make a separate blog entry with more locations and more species.
