Part of the Panamanian traditions is food.  In Guararé you’ll find all the dishes the Spaniards used to eat hundreds years ago, like: Arroz con pollo, tamales, fried pork, chicharrones (pork rinds),  fried tortillas (not like tacos, these are crunchy delicious), white cheese, bread, and everything cooked on a traditional log fire fogón to give that smoky romantic flavor.
