Pixvae

Unexplored, magical, simple place

Pixvae is off the grid, with no phone signal or electricity. People live a simple life here, following the natural rhythm of the sun. The most common form of transportation is by horse.

The surrounding area is a nature paradise, with hidden beaches, caves, and waterfalls. Pixvae is also the closest mainland access point to Coiba National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Closest place to Coiba National Park

Coiba National Park is the largest marine park in Central America and is home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, dolphins, and whales. The park is also a major nesting site for sea turtles.

The park was established in 1992 to protect its unique biodiversity. However, the area was previously used as a prison colony from 1919 to 2004. The prison was closed due to human rights abuses.

Today, Coiba National Park is a popular destination for eco-tourism. Visitors can go scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking in the park. They can also learn about the park’s history and conservation efforts.
